Mobile attribution and analytics pioneer, Kochava, cuts the ribbon on new state-of-the-art company headquarters, following four years of explosive growth and industry leadership; quality of life for employees at the heart of community-based design

SANDPOINT, Idaho – July 26, 2016 – Kochava (www.kochava.com), the mobile attribution, analytics and optimization company, today announced the official grand opening of the company’s newly-built 32,000 sq. ft. downtown Sandpoint office headquarters.

Guests and dignitaries joined Kochava executives, staff, customers, and members of the community for a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony at the new Kochava headquarters, located at 201 Church Street, Sandpoint, Idaho. Idaho Governor, C.L. “Butch” Otter, and Sandpoint Mayor, Shelby Rognstad, addressed the crowd, along with Kochava Founder and CEO, Charles Manning. Kochava customers, including Amazon, AOL, Disney, Hilton, Priceline, and Turner Broadcast also joined in the celebration.

The world’s leading businesses and brands depend on real-time access to data, and Kochavaprovides unparalleled insight into this data for the largest social media, gaming, pharmaceutical, retail, on demand content, and media companies in the world. The company’s consistent 300% year-over-year customer growth has been impressive, demanding Kochava add to all facets of the team; from employees to office space. The company grew from 32 employees in February 2014, to 80 employees this July, with expansion to 100 planned by the end of 2016. The newly renovated downtown building was chosen for a number of criteria including future expansion capability and the desire to accommodate company growth while remaining in the downtown core.

“It all started with the thought: Rather than building a campus, let’s make downtown our campus,” said Charles Manning, Kochava Founder and CEO. “The new 32,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility is in the heart of downtown, adjacent to the lake, mountains, and skiing, where our employees literally have a two-minute commute to the office. Many recruits are thrilled to have the opportunity to work for a leader in the tech industry while living in Rand McNally’s ‘Most Beautiful Small Town in America’. We have an experienced team of executives making the right decisions for the company and our unique position in the ad measurement space as the only large profitable bootstrapped measurement company allows us to innovate and build a company based on value add products that truly benefit our clients, our employees, and our community. We are growing without making concessions and are proud to call Sandpoint home.”

In a climate where most start up tech firms depend on VC funding to juice growth, Kochava is growing profitably without taking on debt. The company’s Sandpoint, Idaho, location is strategic and advantageous both from a recruiting perspective with the abundant lifestyle amenities and general affordability, and from a competitive business perspective, as many companies are raising outside funding just to pay inflated rent prices in traditional tech hotbeds like the Silicon Valley.  In a ‘best of both worlds’ design, the Kochava tech resources deployed globally are secure, robust, and redundant, while employees enjoy the benefits of high quality small town life from the company’s Sandpoint headquarters.

“Today’s competitive and fast-moving economy requires tech companies to not only offer a great product or service, but also be smart about their allocation of resources, including their headquarters location, while developing a team of people to grow the company who love what they do and believe in the company and its products,” said Sandpoint Mayor, Shelby Rognstad. “Kochava is special. They are a disciplined company, making smart decisions about the company headquarters location not only for the sensible economics, but also the quality of life and amenities they are able to offer employees. The state of Idaho, the city of Sandpoint, and the local community are 100% behind the efforts of Kochava, and we applaud its steps to grow without making concessions, and its incredible contributions to our community.”

“The whiz kids at Kochava are on the cutting edge of mobile technology and all the devices that connect us today. They’re revolutionizing the way we get and use information of all kinds for every part of our lives,” Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter said. “Idaho is proud to welcome Kochava to the growing group of successful Idaho-based entrepreneurs and employers in technology, joining the likes of Micron, Hewlett-Packard, Cradlepoint and many others in one of America’s most innovative states. In Sandpoint, Kochava is bringing great jobs to a tremendous community offering an unmatched quality of life.”
