The internet is a big place, and it’s only getting bigger. In fact, since the 1980s experts have been predicting and preparing for the impending exhaustion of the current IPv4 addressing protocol. Basically this means that an IP address that is 32 bits long and looks like this today – 172.16.254.1 – will be 128 bits long and look like this – 2001:db8:ffff:1:201:02ff:fe03:0405 – once the new IPv6 protocol is implemented.

In preparation for this Apple is requiring that all apps submitted to the App Store after June 1 must be IPv6 compatible. As always, Kochava is up-to-date with all requirements and industry best practices.

PLEASE NOTE: NON-IPv6 COMPATIBLE APPS SUBMITTED AFTER JUNE 1 WILL BE REJECTED BY THE APP STORE.

Make sure to grab the latest version of the Kochava SDK for each app update. This will ensure that you always have the latest and greatest security, features and compatibility.
